Former Nigerian national team star, Jay Jay Okocha, celebrated his 25th wedding anniversary by renewing his wedding vows with his lovely wife, Nkechi.
The couple exchanged their wedding vows in 1997, and they are proud parents of two children, Ajay and Daniella.
They consistently share their love and happiness on social media and in various other public spaces.
According to reports, Nkechi expressed her deep admiration for her husband on his 50th birthday, August 14, declaring him as unique.
She shared with Pulse, “My husband is just one. He would want him (the son) playing football, but I don’t think there is anyone who can be my husband because he is just special.”
On October 21, when Nkechi turned 50, the couple had a dual celebration, commemorating their 25th wedding anniversary as well. During a unique ceremony, they chose to renew their marriage vows in the picturesque Maldives.
Nkechi once more experienced the magic of her wedding day, dressed in a beautiful white gown to mark this extraordinary occasion. The former Bolton Wanderers star complemented her attire by wearing a white suit with black trousers.
Okocha is hailed as the finest dribbler ever to grace the Super Eagles. His illustrious career extended for more than 18 years.
He represented some of the most renowned clubs worldwide, including Paris Saint-Germain, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Fenerbahce.
The exceptionally talented midfielder also had spells in English football, donning the jerseys of Bolton Wanderers and Hull City.
