Former British heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua was at his dominant best on Saturday, stopping YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in a dramatic fashion at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.

Joshua electrified the boxing world, delivering exactly what fans wanted as he landed a right-handed jab that sent Paul to the canvas with 1:31 left in the sixth round, while Paul’s brother Logan watched from ringside.

The bout ended a 14-month hiatus for 36-year-old Joshua and marked the most significant fight of 28-year-old Paul’s career.

With a potential, long-anticipated clash against Tyson Fury on the horizon in 2026, Joshua knew there was no room for error against the American.

Speaking after the bout, Joshua praised Jake Paul’s display and suggested that he set his sights on calling out Tyson Fury for a possible showdown in 2026.

“Jake Paul has done really well tonight. I want to give him his props, he got up, time and time again.

“It wasn’t the best performance. It took a bit longer than expected. But the right hand finally found the destination.”

Joshua added that the fight helped him regain his sharpness and issued a challenge to Fury.

“I shook off the cobwebs tonight,” Joshua said. “And if Tyson Fury is serious, and if he wants to shake off his Twitter fingers and pick up some gloves, he should fight me. Let’s see how serious he is.”
