CAF launches Investigations into Super Eagles ordeal in Libya, threatens sanctions

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has launched an investigation into the challenges faced by the Super Eagles in Libya and has warned that those found to have breached its statutes and regulations could face sanctions.

“The matter has been referred to the CAF Disciplinary Board for investigation and appropriate action will be taken against those who violated the CAF Statutes and Regulations,” CAF said in a statement on Monday.
