Bayern Munich has announced that Harry Kane will be sidelined “for the time being” after sustaining a minor hamstring strain during Saturday’s draw with Borussia Dortmund.
The England captain was forced off in the 33rd minute while his team trailed, though Jamal Musiala’s late goal secured a point for Bayern.
A scan on Sunday confirmed the 31-year-old striker suffered a minor strain to his right hamstring. Kane has had an impressive start to the season, netting 20 goals in 19 appearances across all competitions.
Bayern faces a busy schedule with five matches remaining before the Christmas break.
Upcoming fixtures include Tuesday’s DFB-Pokal clash against Bayer Leverkusen, Bundesliga matches against Heidenheim, Mainz, and RB Leipzig, as well as a Champions League tie with Shakhtar Donetsk.
