Kenneth Taylor’s extra-time goal propelled Ajax into the Europa Conference League’s round of 16, securing a 4-3 aggregate victory over Bodo/Glimt.

Following a 2-2 draw in the initial leg, Ajax seized the lead in this encounter with Steven Berghuis’ goal from a turn.

Early in the second half, Josip Sutalo received a red card for Ajax, while Albert Gronbaek was also sent off for Bodo/Glimt.

Patrick Berg equalized, sending the match into extra time, where Kenneth Taylor’s curled shot sealed the victory.

Despite Bodo/Glimt hitting the woodwork three times during the game and Ajax missing England midfielder Jordan Henderson, former Champions League winners Ajax advanced with a stroke of luck.

Cedric Bakambu initially put Spanish side Betis ahead with a deft flick at the near post, leveling the tie. However, Takuro Kaneko’s close-range strike in the 59th minute ensured the Croatians progressed.

Greek powerhouse Olympiakos advanced with a 2-0 aggregate victory against Hungary’s Ferencvaros, courtesy of Ayoub El Kaabi’s first-half penalty.

Norwegian outfit Molde secured a resounding 3-0 victory over Legia Warsaw of Poland, sealing a 6-2 aggregate triumph, while Austrian side Sturm Graz progressed with a 5-1 aggregate scoreline against Slovan Bratislava, clinching a 1-0 victory in Slovakia.

Swiss club Servette reached the round of 16 for the first time in the competition’s history, as Timothe Cognat’s first-half goal secured a 1-0 aggregate win against Bulgarian side Ludogorets.
