Team Kwara has won the National U-17 North Central Male Cricket Qualifiers.
Kwara defeated FCT by 245 runs, won by 250 runs against Kogi and claimed a six wicket victory against Plateau in the two-day tournament at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
Ridwanullai Muhammed, captain of the team told the News Agency of Nigeria that the tournament has exposed the team’s errors.

“I am very happy that we won. I am proud of the team and I thank God for the victory.
” Though we won, we have outlined some of our flaws and we will continue to train to get better,” Muhammed said.
NAN reports that Team Kogi emerged second, while Plateau and FCT were third and fourth respectively.
The best players in the tournament would be selected to represent the region in the finals of the event scheduled for February in Edo.
