Kylian Mbappe has acknowledged facing ‘challenges’ at Paris Saint-Germain, yet he clarified that manager Luis Enrique is not among them.

After enduring a challenging period at his club, the Frenchman delivered an exceptional individual performance in the Champions League.

Mbappe has come under increased scrutiny amidst reports of his verbal agreement to join Real Madrid this summer.

The France captain is set to realize his dream of joining the Galacticos once his contract with PSG expires at the end of the season.

His imminent departure led manager Enrique to substitute him early in PSG’s last two matches, with the Spaniard stating, “We need to learn to play without him sooner or later”.

Speculations of a rift between the two escalated when Mbappe opted to join his mother in the stands after being substituted at half-time against Monaco, rather than remaining on the bench.

Nonetheless, the 25-year-old effectively silenced his detractors within PSG by leading the club into the Champions League quarter-finals.

Mbappe netted both goals in a 2-1 victory away against Real Sociedad, securing their place in the last eight, and even received a bear-hug from his manager at the conclusion of the match.

Following the game, Mbappe dismissed rumors of any discord, stating to Canal+ that their relationship is ‘very good, very good!’

He added: “I have no problem with the coach. Everything is good with him. I have problems but the manager isn’t one of them.”
