Lazio endured the dismissal of three players as they suffered a defeat against AC Milan in Serie A.

Luca Pellegrini became the first player to receive a red card after fouling Christian Pulisic, resulting in a second booking.

Noah Okafor secured an 88th-minute victory for AC Milan with a strike from 16 yards, following a remarkable double save by goalkeeper Ivan Provedel.

In added time, Lazio had two players sent off, with Adam Marusic dismissed for protesting against the referee and Matteo Guendouzi for pushing Pulisic.

Guendouzi, frustrated after being fouled by former Chelsea forward Pulisic, knocked the American to the ground, leaving the hosts with eight players for the remaining seconds.

A total of six Milan players received bookings, while three other Lazio players were shown yellow cards in a heated match.

AC Milan currently hold third place in the table, trailing leaders Inter Milan by 13 points, whereas Lazio, set to face Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday, sit in ninth position.
