Fulham, making their first semi-final appearance since 2010, will aim to replicate their success in the Europa League that year.
On the other side, Championship club Middlesbrough, hosting Chelsea in the first leg, reaches the semi-finals for the first time since 2004 when they clinched their only major trophy with a Cup victory.
Chelsea, victorious in both the 1997 FA Cup final and the League Cup final a year later against Middlesbrough, aspire to secure their sixth tournament win and capture their first piece of silverware since claiming the delayed 2021 Club World Cup in February of last year.
The final is slated to take place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, February 25.
