Madrid star Alaba gifts Tinubu jersey

During a tour to France, Austrian player of Nigerian heritage David Alaba was seen gifting a Real Madrid jersey to Nigerian President Bola Tinubu.

Alaba, whose parents were from Ijebu Ode in Ogun state, was delighted to see Tinbu as they posed for selfies.

Tinubu took the opportunity to meet with Nigerians in Paris while in France for the Global Financing Pact Summit, his first official trip as Nigerian president since his May 29 inauguration.

The former governor of Lagos state held his first presidential diaspora engagement in Paris, France, in a significant development showcasing his international engagement.

The meeting was organised by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission and the Nigerian Mission in France.

The event was attended by a vibrant gathering of Nigerians residing in France, which also included Los Blancos defender.

Meanwhile, the Austrian international, widely regarded as one of the finest defenders in the world, was received by President Tinubu during the diaspora engagement.

Alaba’s presence added an extra dimension of excitement to the event, capturing football enthusiasts and political observers’ attention.
