There is a possibility that Jadon Sancho, currently on the fringes at Manchester United, could make a return to Borussia Dortmund on loan this month.
Jadon Sancho has declined to apologize to Erik ten Hag for a social media post, following the manager’s assertion that Sancho’s omission from September’s defeat at Arsenal was linked to his training performance.
The 23-year-old English winger rejected this explanation, asserting that he was unfairly being singled out.
Since the incident, Sancho has been training separately from the first team, and there appears to be no resolution in sight to his exclusion.
Manchester United acquired Sancho from Dortmund for £73m in July 2021.
It is reported that Borussia Dortmund is open to offering Sancho a return in the January transfer window and is optimistic about reaching an agreement for the remainder of the season.
However, any potential deal might necessitate United contributing a significant portion of Sancho’s wages, considering the substantial increase he received upon joining the Red Devils.
