Marcus Rashford resist Manchester United attempts to sell him
Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is set to resist any attempts by the club to sell him this summer, according to the UK Sun.
This development follows reports that all of United’s squad could potentially be sold, except for Kobbie Mainoo, Rasmus Hojlund, and Alejandro Garnacho.
New co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is reportedly planning a major overhaul of the team in an effort to restore its former glory.
Selling Rashford could be financially beneficial for United, as any proceeds from his sale would be considered pure profit because he is an academy graduate. This would help the club manage Financial Fair Play (FFP) restrictions.
However, the 26-year-old, who is valued at £80 million, intends to oppose any efforts by United to transfer him.
Rashford, content in Manchester, is not interested in leaving the club where he began his career.
