Milan table €20m for Chukwueze

 Milan are ready to sign Samuel Chukwueze and will contact Villarreal to start negotiations in the coming days, According to reports in Italy.

This summer, the Rossoneri hope to boost Stefano Pioli’s frontline by bringing in a new right winger capable of adding another layer to the attack.

Milan’s top target for this is Chukwueze, who the club believes possesses all of the traits required to make a difference: pace, power, inventiveness, and finishing.

According to Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Milan have already established a verbal agreement with Chukwueze, agreeing on both his pay and the length of the contract.

Now, the Rossoneri will make contact with Villarreal to start negotiating a deal. The Spanish side have set a €30m price tag on the 24-year-old, who has a year left on his contract.

Milan are planning to start talks with an offer of €20m and willing to raise the figures further through add-ons, while reports in Spain suggest the Yellow Submarine will only sanction Chukwueze’s departure from Estadi de la Ceràmica if the demand of at least €25 million plus bonuses is met.

Chukwueze had a remarkable season under the guidance of Villarreal coach Quique Setién, scoring an impressive 13 goals and providing 11 assists last term.
