Millwall Football Club has announced the passing of their goalkeeper, Matija Sarkic, at the age of 26.
Sarkic, who represented Montenegro internationally, joined the Championship club from Wolves in August 2023 and played 33 matches for them during the last season.

His most recent appearance for his country was in a friendly against Belgium on 5 June.
The Montenegro Football Association issued a statement revealing that Sarkic had passed away suddenly on Saturday morning.
