Chiamaka Nnadozie, the Super Falcons of Nigeria’s star goalkeeper, has been named the CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year for 2024.
The award was presented during the ceremony held in Marrakech, Morocco, marking Nnadozie’s second consecutive win, following her triumph in 2023.
The Paris FC goalkeeper edged out strong competition from Sanaa Mssoudy of Morocco and Babra Banda of Zambia to claim the accolade.
Nnadozie has been renowned for her exceptional performances with the Super Falcons and her club, Paris FC, showcasing remarkable consistency throughout the year.
In her acceptance speech, she dedicated the award to all her coaches and teammates, both in the national team and at her club.
