NNL warns clubs against violence conduct

The Nigeria National League (NNL) has issued a warning to clubs regarding crowd violence as the new season approaches.

The league organizers stressed the importance of crowd control and urged clubs to avoid restricting live streaming of matches.

Mr. George Aluo, the NNL chairman, provided this guidance during the closing ceremony of a workshop for coaches and media managers held in Ikenne.

Aluo also assured the participating clubs that referees’ indemnities would be paid promptly throughout the season.

“We are dedicated to creating a league where clubs can achieve victory solely on their performance, regardless of venue. Referees’ indemnities will be paid on time to support unbiased officiating,” Aluo stated in Ikenne.

“It’s time to end the cycle of ‘we rob you, you rob us.’

“The NNL board remains impartial and will not favor any club. Any grievances should be directed to the secretariat, where it will be addressed promptly.”.

The new season will commence on Saturday November 30.
