Nigeria international Taiwo Awoniyi has been left out of Nottingham Forest’s squad for this season’s UEFA Europa League.
Awoniyi’s exclusion was confirmed following Forest’s release of their official squad list for the competition.
Meanwhile, his compatriot Ola Aina made the cut.
Among the notable inclusions are Chris Wood, Neco Williams, Morgan Gibbs-White, Douglas Luiz, and Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Aina is presently with the Super Eagles squad preparing for this month’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa, while Awoniyi was not called up.
