Nottingham Forest captain Morgan Gibbs-White, manager Nuno Espirito Santo, and Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler have been charged by the Football Association following their red cards during Sunday’s Premier League match.
Gibbs-White was sent off in the 83rd minute after receiving a second yellow card, with both managers being dismissed shortly after.
The Forest midfielder has been charged with improper conduct and/or using abusive or insulting language towards fourth official Anthony Taylor.
Nuno and Hurzeler have been charged with improper behavior, with Nuno also accused of using abusive or insulting language towards a match official.
The three have until Friday, September 27, to respond to the charges.
Gibbs-White received his second yellow card for a sliding tackle on Brighton’s Joao Pedro with seven minutes left in the game.
Both Hurzeler and Nuno were sent off by referee Rob Jones for their reactions on the touchline towards the end of the 2-2 draw, which saw both teams extend their unbeaten Premier League runs.
Gibbs-White and Nuno will miss Forest’s home game against Fulham on Saturday, while Hurzeler will be absent from the dugout when Brighton face Chelsea the same day (both 15:00 BST).
