Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has rejoined South African side Chippa United after failing to secure a move to another club.
Nwabali left the club in February after requesting the termination of his contract but has now returned to the Eastern Cape-based outfit.
Chippa United confirmed the goalkeeper’s return in a statement posted on its X account on Sunday.
“Chippa United Football Club is delighted to welcome Stanley Nwabali back to the Chilli Boys. After taking time away, Stanley Nwabali returns to the Eastern Cape, and we are pleased to welcome him back to the club,” the club stated.
The 30-year-old joined Chippa United from Katsina United in 2022 and went on to make 66 league appearances during his first spell with the club.
