Bukayo Saka has committed his future to Arsenal F.C. by agreeing to a new long-term deal.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT:

The 24-year-old arrived at our Hale End Academy as an eight-year-old in May 2010 and has developed into the top scorer, leading assist provider and most frequent appearance maker in the current squad — registering 78 goals and close to 300 outings across all competitions.

Bukayo stepped up to the senior side at 17 in November 2018, and later collected the Arsenal Player of the Year honour in both 2021 and 2022. He also earned the PFA Young Player of the Year award in 2022/23 and secured a place in the PFA Team of the Season that year. In addition, our attacker was recognised as England Men’s Player of the Year for 2021/22 and 2022/23.

A driving force in our attacking unit through his steady displays, and widely regarded as one of the finest wingers in the global game, Bukayo has claimed the Arsenal Player of the Month prize more often than any other player since its introduction in 2012.

Since making his senior debut for England in October 2020, Bukayo has earned 48 caps for the Three Lions. He has featured in three major tournaments, playing a role in the nation’s run to the semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup and consecutive European Championship finals at Euro 2020 and 2024, and he remains a central figure for his country heading into this summer’s World Cup.

Demonstrating his class, last season Bukayo still managed 25 goal contributions — 12 goals and 13 assists — across 37 appearances, despite being sidelined for more than three months during the campaign.

Having worn the captain’s armband at times in recent years, Bukayo continues to set the standard at the club, aiming to add to his 2020 FA Cup triumph and FA Community Shield successes in 2020 and 2023 in the seasons ahead.

Everyone associated with the club is excited about Bukayo’s ongoing impact and influence over the long term.

Bukayo’s new contract is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
