Tobi Amusan, the world record holder, qualified for the 100-meter hurdles semi-finals at the current 2024 Olympics in Paris on Wednesday.
Amusan was the fastest of the eight participants, clocking in at 12.49 seconds, followed by Alaysha Johnson of America at 12.61 seconds and Janeek Brown of Jamaica at 12.84.
The semi-finals will take place on Friday, August 9, with the final scheduled for Saturday, August 10, the penultimate day of the sports event.
This is Amusan’s third consecutive Olympic Games.
