Osimhen transfer talks stall as Galatasaray reject Napoli’s new demands

Negotiations between Napoli and Galatasaray for the transfer of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen have stalled, following Galatasaray’s refusal to accept revised terms proposed by the Italian club.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Napoli suggested a new payment structure involving €40 million upfront, an additional €35 million to be paid by 2026, and a sell-on clause entitling Napoli to a percentage of any future transfer involving Osimhen.

However, Galatasaray rejected the offer, countering with a €35 million proposal to be paid in installments through 2027, and strongly opposing the inclusion of a sell-on clause.

The disagreement over payment terms and future conditions has temporarily halted the deal, although both clubs are expected to revisit discussions should either side show flexibility in the coming days.

Osimhen, who joined Napoli from Lille in 2020, is reportedly open to a new challenge, with interest from several top European clubs. Galatasaray remain eager to sign the prolific forward, but the current impasse may create an opening for other potential suitors.
