Osimhen’s agent threatens legal action against Napoli over social media post

Napoli Striker Victor Osimhen‘s Agent, on Tuesday, Roberto Calenda, asserted his right to pursue legal action against the club.

Calendar issued this warning following the removal of a video that mocked the player from Serie A side’s official TikTok account on Tuesday.

In a statement on X (formerly Twitter), Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda said that the video caused “very serious damage to the player”.

“What happened today on Napoli’s official profile on the TikTok platform is not acceptable.”

“A video mocking Victor was first made public and then, but now belatedly, deleted,” said Calenda.”

“We reserve the right to take legal action and any other useful initiative to protect Victor.”

 

Napoli did not provide a comment beyond regular business hours. Osimhen’s missed penalty kick during a goalless Serie A draw against Bologna on Sunday.

As the game neared its end, he was substituted and seemed to express his disagreement, raising his voice at coach Rudi Garcia before exiting the field.

French manager Rudi Garcia later downplayed the situation. Napoli, the defending Serie A champions, are currently seventh in the standings and will host Udinese on Wednesday.
