Osimhen’s bicycle kick goal work of art – Galatasaray

Galatasaray were left in awe of Victor Osimhen’s stunning bicycle kick during Saturday’s 3-0 victory over Antalyaspor. The Turkish champions took to Instagram on Sunday, describing the goal as more than just a photograph—”a work of art.”

The Nigerian striker sealed the scoring for the visitors with the spectacular strike, two minutes into stoppage time during the Süper Lig Game week 9 match at Corendon Airlines Park in Antalya. The goal marked Osimhen’s third league goal of the season. His first came in a 3-3 draw with Kasimpasa before a hamstring injury sidelined him for two games.

On loan from Napoli, the 25-year-old helped the defending champions return to winning form, further brightening their weekend as rivals Besiktas dropped points.

This victory followed Galatasaray’s dramatic win over Fenerbahce in the Intercontinental Derby two weeks ago, which relieved some pressure on manager Okan Buruk. However, after squandering a 2-0 lead against Riga in the Europa League and narrowly defeating Alanyaspor 1-0 last weekend, Buruk faced renewed scrutiny over his tactics.

Osimhen joined Galatasaray in September on loan from Napoli for the remainder of the season. The club is keen on making the move permanent, but competition from top European sides, especially Chelsea, may complicate their efforts.
