The head coach of the Super Falcons, Randy Waldrum, emphasizes that his players understand the significance of qualifying for the 2024 Olympic Games.
The nine-time African champions are aiming to make a comeback to the Olympics after a 16-year hiatus.
In the first leg of the final qualifying round fixture last Friday, Waldrum’s team secured a 1-0 victory over South Africa.
The two teams will face off again in the reverse fixture at the Lotfus Versfeld Stadium, Pretoria, on Tuesday.
The ultimate victor will earn a spot at Paris 2024.
“We will go into the match the same way, we will be confident,” Waldrum said ahead of the game.
“Our players know what’s at stake and I feel confident in our players that they will go and get the result.”
