Victor Osimhen has been presented with the Globe Soccer Emerging Player of the Year award.
The Nigeria international was not able to attend the Globe Soccer Awards gala in Dubai on November 17, 2022.
The award was presented to him in Naples on Wednesday.
The 24-year-old beat Barcelona star, Gavi and Real Madrid midfielder, Federico Valverde to the award.
Osimhen has scored 10 goals in 13 league appearances for Napoli this season.
He has been linked with a number of top clubs in Europe.
His present Club, Napoli increased the valuation of Osimhen to €140m following his impressive performances.
Both Manchester United and Bayern Munich have indicated interest in signing him.
United are shopping for a replacement for the departed Cristiano Ronaldo, while Osimhen still has two years to run on his Napoli contract, with talks of an improved deal reportedly in the works.
