Prince of Wales, his son, George see England heartbreak at Euro 2024 final

The Prince of Wales expressed his sentiments, stating “this time it just wasn’t meant to be” after he and his son, Prince George, watched England play against Spain in the Euro final in Berlin.

Following England’s defeat, the King encouraged manager Gareth Southgate and his team to “hold your heads high” in a letter.

He emphasized that reaching the final was “a really great achievement in itself” and urged the team to focus on “the many triumphs which I have no doubt lie ahead.”

Harry Styles, Piers Morgan, Olly Murs, and Louis Tomlinson were also present, joining thousands of fans at the Olympiastadion.

The British royals were accompanied by Felipe VI, King of Spain, and his daughter, Princess Sofia of Spain.

Spain won the match with a score of two goals to England’s one.

Posting on X, Prince William wrote: “This time it just wasn’t meant to be. We’re all still so proud of you. Onwards @England. W.”
