Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) completely controlled the match against Strasbourg, using their possession advantage to dictate the pace of play and create numerous scoring opportunities. This dominance eventually led to a comfortable victory for the Parisians.

Guided by a stellar performance from Kylian Mbappe, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) exhibited no mercy on their home turf.

In the 8th minute, Junior Mwanga, arriving late to the ball, delivered a robust tackle on Goncalo Ramos within the penalty area, resulting in a clear penalty in favor of PSG. Mbappe stepped up to take the spot kick, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance as he executed a flawless shot.

However, the celebration for Luis Enrique’s team was short-lived. In the 13th minute, Strasbourg equalized the score at 1-1 with a goal from a corner to the far post, during which the PSG defense appeared disoriented.

However, Carlos Soler anticipated the play and leaped to position Mothiba in an offside position, resulting in the goal being disallowed by VAR due to the offside violation.

Fifteen minutes before halftime, Soler received a pass from Mbappe, who displayed remarkable skill, and skillfully directed a shot into the top right corner of the net.

The second half commenced without any changes from either team, and PSG continued to assert their dominant control over the game.

Luis Enrique’s team made continuous efforts to extend their lead, while Strasbourg, with limited options, had a few opportunities from set pieces but failed to convert them into goals.

In the 80th minute, the home team secured their third goal when Fabian Ruiz executed a remarkable play, resulting in a precise shot from inside the penalty area.

The Spaniard’s precision left the goalkeeper, Sels, with no chance as the ball nestled into the bottom left corner, ultimately sealing the match in favor of the home side.
