PSG dominate UEFA’s champions league best XI

66

UEFA has announced its Champions League Team of the Season for the 2025/26 campaign, with Paris Saint-Germain accounting for the largest share of players following their successful title-winning season.

Selected by the UEFA Technical Observer Group, the team features five PSG stars, more than any other club represented in the lineup.

Among those included are Player of the Season Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who takes a place on the left side of midfield, and Vitinha, who earned the Player of the Match award in the Champions League final.

They are joined in the Team of the Season by PSG captain Marquinhos and full-back Nuno Mendes in defence, while Ousmane Dembélé spearheads the attack.

Arsenal have three representatives in the XI after their strong performance in the competition. Goalkeeper David Raya was selected in goal, while defender Gabriel and midfielder Declan Rice also secured places in the team.

Bayern Munich contributed two players, with Michael Olise and Harry Kane earning recognition for their impressive displays throughout the European campaign.

Atlético de Madrid’s Marcos Llorente is the sole player from the Spanish club to make the final selection.

One notable omission from the team is Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal, despite his impressive performances during the season.
