Paris St-Germain found themselves in a 2-2 deadlock against Reims at the Parc des Princes, with Kylian Mbappe beginning the match from the bench.

Reims seized an unexpected lead in the sixth minute following an error from Achraf Hakimi, allowing Marshall Munetsi to capitalize with a straightforward finish. Just 11 minutes later, Yunis Abdelhamid’s own goal restored parity in the match.

In the 19th minute, Goncalo Ramos added his sixth goal of the Ligue 1 season, putting Reims ahead once more. However, Will Still’s visiting side managed to equalize just before halftime thanks to Oumar Diakite’s effort.

Kylian Mbappe, destined for Real Madrid in the summer upon the expiration of his PSG contract, was summoned by manager Luis Enrique in the 73rd minute. Despite his presence, Reims thwarted him, granting him minimal opportunities.

Following Enrique’s assertion that the team must adapt to playing without their star striker, Mbappe was substituted at halftime in the previous goalless draw against Monaco last Friday.

With their third consecutive draw in domestic competition, PSG extended their lead at the summit of Ligue 1 to 10 points. Meanwhile, Reims remains in ninth place.
