Two Queens Park Rangers (QPR) academy players have been arrested on suspicion of voyeurism, the Metropolitan Police has confirmed.
The players, both in their late teens, were detained on Thursday following a reported incident at a nightclub in Kingston, south-west London, on February 5. It is understood that the arrests were made at QPR’s training ground in Hounslow, west London.
A spokesperson for the Met Police stated that the suspects were taken into custody and have since been released on bail, pending further investigation, until early April.
In response, QPR released a statement acknowledging the alleged incident and confirmed that the two academy players are cooperating with police inquiries.
“As this is an ongoing investigation, the club will not be making any further comment at this time,” QPR said.
The Met said the victim was being supported by specialist officers.
