Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers have tabled an offer of £9m to sign Fenerbahce wing-back Bright Osayi-Samuel this summer.
The versatile defender has also been linked with English clubs Leeds United and Bournemouth with reports claiming that Leeds United had opened talks over a move for the Nigerian.
The 25-year-old began his professional career with Blackpool where he made 79 appearances before joing Queens Parks Rangers where he racked up another 115 games.
In 2020, he made the surprise move to leave English football and go to Turkey, with SuperLig giants Fenerbahce, finishing this season four games shy of 100 outings for the Fener.
A move to Scotland seems on the card as the right-back, according to Sporx, is a primary target for Michael Beale.
“Michael Beale is looking to steal a march on Leeds and Bournemouth. The latest report from Sporx says that Rangers have tabled an offer of £9m – as they prepare for a Champions League third-round qualifying match,” the website was quoted as saying.
Fenerbahce are in need of funds for summer transfer target, Mert Müldür, would listen to offers in the range of €10m for Osayi-Samuel to help ease their financial burden.
