Real Madrid defender Nacho Fernandez is reportedly on the verge of joining Al Qadsiah in the Saudi Pro League, according to ESPN.
Currently representing Spain at Euro 2024, the 34-year-old had been in advanced negotiations with another Saudi club, Al Ittihad.
However, Al Qadsiah made an offer that Nacho has now accepted.
Nacho’s career at Real Madrid began when he joined the club’s youth academy at the age of 11.
Over the years, he has secured a joint-club record of 26 trophies with the La Liga giants.
With his contract set to expire at the end of this month, Nacho has been contemplating his future options.
Despite nearly leaving Real Madrid in the summer of 2023, the Spaniard chose to stay and subsequently captained the team to a Champions League and La Liga double this season.
