Real Madrid unveil Brazil teenager Endrick

Real Madrid revealed Brazilian adolescent Endrick, who has signed a six-year contract with the European champions, at a press conference on Saturday at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Endrick, who turned 18 this week, joins from Brazilian club Palmeiras, where he won two league titles and one Super Cup.

He made his international debut at the age of 17 against Colombia last November, and scored his first goal against England in a 1-0 victory in March.

He was a member of Brazil’s Copa America squad, making his international debut in the quarterfinals against Uruguay, which they lost on penalties.

“I don’t have words to describe what I’m feeling because I’ve always wanted to be here,” Endrick stated during his Bernabeu introduction.

“I wanted to play for Madrid, it’s like a dream coming true today.”

Real Madrid will defend their La Liga championship against Mallorca on August 18.
