Roma have dismissed head coach Ivan Juric following a 3-2 home loss to Bologna on Sunday, marking their search for a third manager this season.
The 49-year-old Croatian was appointed in September to succeed Daniele de Rossi, who had managed the team for just eight months following Jose Mourinho’s departure.
Juric, formerly with Torino and Hellas Verona, led Roma in 12 matches, securing four wins and suffering five defeats.
“We would like to thank Ivan Juric for his hard work these past weeks,” said Roma owners The Freidkin Group, who are in talks to buy Everton.
“He handled a difficult environment with the utmost professionalism, and for that we are grateful. The search for a new head coach has already begun and we expect an announcement in the coming days.”
Reports indicate that former Italy and Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is a top candidate to take over at Roma after recently stepping down as head coach of Saudi Arabia.
Currently, Roma sit 12th in Serie A and rank 20th in the Europa League, just one point away from the elimination zone.
