Al-Nassr clinched a confident 3-1 win against Al Feiha at the Al Majma’ah Sports City Stadium, On Saturday, October 28, elevating them to the second position in the standings.

A brace by Anderson Talisca, coupled with a goal from Otavio, extended the Knights of Najd’s winning streak to three consecutive victories in all competitions.

Coming off an electrifying seven-goal match in the AFC Champions League against Al Duhail from Qatar, the prominent Riyadh-based team initiated the game with an offensive approach, generating numerous close scoring opportunities.

However, the determined Al Feiha defense initially repelled the persistent attacks from the quartet of Al-Nassr, comprising Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mane, Otavio, and Anderson Talisca.

Their awaited breakthrough materialized in the 50th minute when Ronaldo provided an assist to Talisca. With his characteristic finesse shot, Talisca calmly directed the ball into the bottom corner, ultimately breaking through the Al Feiha defense, according to reports.

Mane’s attempt was ruled offside, but shortly afterward, Talisca completed his personal brace and notched his team’s second goal with a header after the one-hour mark, exploiting the vulnerabilities in the opposing defense.

Although Al-Nassr briefly faced a worrisome moment when Abdelhamid Sabiri reduced the deficit by half three minutes following Talisca’s second goal, former FC Porto playmaker Otavio effectively extinguished any hopes of a comeback from the home side.

The Portuguese midfielder unleashed an outstanding shot from the edge of the box after receiving a pass from substitute Abdulmajeed Al Sulaiheem.

Preserving the current score, the champions of the Arab Cup effectively repelled any additional threats, enabling manager Luis Castro to offer valuable rest to essential players, including Ronaldo.

This outcome elevates Al-Nassr to the second position in the Saudi League standings, trailing Al-Hilal by four points after 11 matches.
