Saka withdraws from England squad due to injury

Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has been withdrawn from the England national team’s upcoming matches due to injury concerns.

Initially, England’s manager, Gareth Southgate, had included Saka in the squad for the friendly against Australia and the crucial European Championship qualifier against Italy.

However, after conducting comprehensive medical assessments on Saka, the England medical team determined that he was not in an optimal condition to represent the Three Lions.

Despite this, Southgate has chosen not to replace him in the squad.

It’s worth noting that Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, had expressed concerns about Saka’s fitness.

The 22-year-old winger has been grappling with a series of injuries in recent weeks, including thigh, Achilles, and hamstring issues.\
