Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye has conveyed deep appreciation to Morocco for successfully hosting the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Speaking on behalf of the people of Senegal, President Faye commended the Kingdom of Morocco for what he described as outstanding efforts in staging a memorable tournament. He offered special praise to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, recognising both the leadership that made the event possible and the hospitality shown throughout the competition.
“I express my deepest thanks and great gratitude to the brotherly people of the Kingdom of Morocco for the tremendous efforts in organizing the Africa Cup of Nations,” the Senegalese leader said. “On behalf of the Senegalese people, I extend sincere appreciation to His Majesty King Mohammed VI and to the Moroccan people for their warm reception, hospitality, and the great care given to our delegation and all participating teams.”
