The Teranga Lions of Senegal on Sunday thrash Equatorial Guinea 3-1 to reach the semi-finals of the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon.
Senegal will now play Burkina Faso in the Semi-finals of the tournament on Thursday.
Famara Diedhiou opened scoring for Senegal on 28 minutes after he was set free in the area by Sadio Mane and he made no mistake with a lovely finish into the bottom left corner.
Jannick Buyla equalised for Equatorial Guinea on 57 minutes after receiving a pass inside the box and smashed a low shot into the bottom right corner.
He was in the right place at the right time to get to the rebound inside the box and gleefully rifled the ball into the right side of the goal.
Ismaila Sarr made it 3-1 for Senegal 11 minutes later after receiving a well-taken defence-splitting low pass inside the box and scored. His great effort made its way into the bottom right corner of the net.
