Moses Simon will look to make his 70th Super Eagles appearance in Sunday’s (today) Africa Cup of Nations final against hosts Ivory Coast at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan.
The winger has so far played 69 league games for Nigeria with his debut coming in a friendly game on March 2015 against Uganda which the Eagles lost 1-0.
Simon could also set another landmark in the fixture as he has scored nine goals in the green and white of the Eagles and finding the back of the net against the Elephants would take him to 10.
The 28-year-old has provided two assists in six games at this edition of the AFCON.
Overall in the continental tournament, he has scored one goal and provided five assists and he will be hopeful of adding to the tally as they chase a fourth trophy.
