Barcelona emerged victorious against Osasuna in Saudi Arabia, paving the way for a Spanish Super Cup final against Real Madrid on Sunday.

After a scoreless opening half, Robert Lewandowski broke the deadlock for Barca in the 59th minute with a precise low shot, capitalizing on Ilkay Gundogan’s pass.

Both Andreas Christensen and Lewandowski had their earlier attempts saved by Sergio Herrera, while Ante Budimir missed a promising chance for Osasuna.

Lamine Yamal sealed Barca’s victory with the second goal during the third minute of added time.

With a record 14 Spanish Super Cup titles, Barcelona is set to face current La Liga leaders Real Madrid in pursuit of their 15th triumph.

The tournament features the top three teams from the previous La Liga season—champions Barcelona, runners-up Real, and third-placed Atletico Madrid—along with Osasuna, who lost to Real in the Copa del Rey final.

All games are being held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and this marked the second of three matches.

Last Wednesday, Atletico came within five minutes of securing a spot in the final when Real’s Dani Carvajal netted, leveling the score at 3-3 and forcing the game into extra time. Subsequent goals from Joselu and Brahim Diaz secured a 5-3 victory for Real.
