Sporting began their Champions League campaign by coming from behind to claim a 3-1 victory over Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray according to BBC Sport.

Sporting striker Luis Suarez thought he had levelled soon after when he slotted home but it was disallowed for offside.
Just moments after the disallowed goal, Sporting found their equaliser with Geny Catamo pinging a half-volley into the bottom corner from 14 yards.
Perhaps flattered by the level scoreline at the break, Sporting turned it on in the second half.
The Portuguese side won a penalty as Suarez went around goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir before he was clipped by Ismail Jakobs.
After a long video assistant referee check to confirm the decision, Suarez planted the spot-kick into the bottom corner for the lead.
Six minutes later, the points were secured by Sporting – who netted their third goal from just their fifth effort.
Rodrigo Zalazar scored the pick of the bunch by curling a free-kick into the top corner from 22 yards out.
