Tottenham Hotspur has completed the signing of 21-year-old Czech goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky from Slavia Prague in a deal valued at approximately £12.5 million.
The move comes as Spurs deal with the absence of first-choice goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, who has been sidelined since fracturing his ankle during a 4-0 victory over Manchester City on November 24.
Fraser Forster has been filling in for Vicario but missed Saturday’s 2-1 loss to Newcastle due to illness, prompting a debut for 25-year-old Brandon Austin.
Currently sitting 12th in the Premier League, Spurs have won just two of their last 11 matches.
Kinsky has signed a contract until 2031, with the transfer subject to international clearance and a work permit.
Since joining Slavia Prague from Dukla Prague in 2021, Kinsky initially went out on loan before cementing his place in the team. The Czech Republic Under-21 international has made 29 appearances this season, keeping 14 clean sheets.
