Nigerian defender Benjamin Tanimu has completed a move to Moroccan side Maghreb de Fès on a free transfer, according to Completesports.com.

The 22-year-old signed a three-year deal with the Botola Pro club after successfully undergoing a medical examination.

Tanimu recently parted ways with English side Crawley Town, terminating his contract earlier this week.

The club was relegated to League Two at the end of the 2024/25 season.

During his time at Crawley, the centre-back made 10 league appearances. He has also earned three caps for Nigeria at the international level.

Before moving to England, Tanimu featured for Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club Bendel Insurance and Tanzanian side Singida SC.
