Thieves rob store owned by Messi’s wife’s family

Close family members of Antonela Roccuzzo, Lionel Messi‘s wife, experienced a traumatic incident in Rosario when thieves stole money.

The incident occurred while Roccuzzo’s cousin was transferring funds from their store to the bank, and the robbery is reported to have been a violent ordeal.

According to reports, the thieves attacked the vehicle in which Roccuzzo’s cousin and two employees were traveling. They smashed the windows and escaped with an estimated sum of 22,500 USD.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported. David Santamaria, the head of Radio Command in the area, stated that investigations have been initiated.

“They were leaving the supermarket and going to a nearby bank. At 5pm, they were approached by a white car, the glass was broken, and the bags with the large sum of money were taken.”
