Son Heung-min secured a decisive late goal as Tottenham staged a comeback from a one-goal deficit to defeat Luton, securing their position in the Premier League’s top four.

Tahith Chong’s well-executed goal granted Luton an early advantage, yet Spurs swiftly responded. They leveled the score early in the second half when Issa Kabore inadvertently directed Brennan Johnson’s cross into his own net.

Following the equalizer, Spurs intensified their offensive efforts, relentlessly pressing the Luton defense. Despite their resilience, Luton managed to thwart numerous goal-scoring opportunities, with Alfie Doughty notably preventing Johnson’s close-range attempt from crossing the goal line.

However, Luton could not prevent Son’s decisive goal, which took a deflection off halftime substitute Daiki Hashioka before beating goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski.

Aston Villa has the opportunity to reclaim fourth place with a draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers later on Saturday.
