Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of Brazilian winger Savinho from Manchester City, subject to the 22-year-old receiving a work permit.

Savinho joins Spurs after two seasons with City, having previously made a name for himself during his loan spell at Girona in Spain.

The winger played a key role in Girona’s historic campaign, helping the club finish third in La Liga and qualify for the Champions League for the first time. He ended his spell with 11 goals in 41 appearances.

Before moving to England, Savinho started his professional career with Atletico Mineiro and later had loan spells with PSV Eindhoven and Girona.

He has also established himself with Brazil’s senior national team, making his debut in 2024 and featuring at the Copa America. He currently has 13 international appearances and one goal.

Savinho expressed his excitement about joining Tottenham, saying:

“It’s taken a while but I’m very happy to be here.

“It’s a wonderful opportunity at a brilliant club with one of the best managers in the world.

“As soon as I spoke to the Head Coach I knew I had to come. He told me he wants to help me reach the highest level, and I believe we can do that together, as a team.”
