Trabzonspor fan ban has been reduced from six matches to four following an appeal, stemming from an incident where their supporters stormed the pitch and clashed with Fenerbahce players on 17 March.

In addition to the reduction in the fan ban, Trabzonspor’s fine has been decreased from £74,105 to £11,066.

Meanwhile, one-match suspensions for Fenerbahce players Can Egribayat and Jayden Quinn Oosterwolde remain in place, as they were involved in altercations with supporters at Papara Park in Trabzon after the match.

Following the incident, twelve fans were arrested.

Fenerbahce had contemplated withdrawing from the Turkish Super Lig after the altercation, but ultimately decided against it after a vote last week.

Currently, Fenerbahce sits in second place in the Turkish Super Lig, trailing leaders Galatasaray by two points with seven matches remaining, while Trabzonspor holds the third position, trailing Fenerbahce by 30 points.
