Manchester United have completed the signing of Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos from Chelsea in a deal worth up to £50 million.
The agreement includes an initial transfer fee of £48 million, with a further £2 million in performance-related add-ons. Chelsea will also retain a 10 per cent sell-on clause as part of the transfer.
The 22-year-old becomes one of Manchester United’s key additions ahead of the new season as the club continues to strengthen its squad.
Santos joined Chelsea from Brazilian side Vasco da Gama in January 2023 but spent time on loan before returning to feature for the club’s first team last season.
The Brazilian midfielder is expected to bolster United’s midfield options following the completion of the move to Old Trafford.
