U-17 WWC: Four countries qualify for quarter-final

At least four countries have secured their spots in the quarter-finals of the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.

The teams include Nigeria, the United States, Spain, and Ecuador.

Nigeria’s Flamingos, along with Ecuador, were the latest teams to advance after winning their matches early Wednesday morning.

Nigeria claimed a 1-0 victory over host nation, the Dominican Republic, finishing at the top of Group A. Ecuador dominated New Zealand with a 4-0 win in their final group game.

Zambia will face Japan, and Poland will take on Brazil later today in their respective final group matches.
